Hostal Charo II Reviews

The hostel is good for your money's worth, but it was musty and only had one shower for the whole building.

Just a heads up the staff does not speak English very well.

Very nice woman, all over wifi not really true, hot showers though and great value

We just fell in love with the hostel: we got a double bed room with private bathroom and the weekend we spent there felt like home. The lady who works there is really friendly and she helped us to find nice places to eat. The room was very tidy and clean, the bathroom was big and had a bathtub and the whole place just felt not like an hotel, but like a really big and warm house. If we are to spend some more days in Santiago, we'll certainly get back to Charo II!

The room was well equipped and clean (we really appreciate the towels!), but it is strange that the receptionist does not speak any English, however at this case it was not a real problem, as we stayed only one night, but it would be better if the reception offer more information about the city.

Very loud hostel, in addition the staff was never available to ask for new towels, payments, etc. Overall, good location and people but horrible customer service and general attitude.

no kitchen, more a hotel, but dobel room with bothroom and room service, 5-10 min walk to centro historico and cathedrale
