Really enjoyed our time there. It would have been nice to have a selection of cold beers to buy along with the sodas and juices.

Amazing hostel right in the middle of everything you'd want to see in Bogota including Monseratte, Museo del Oro and the government buildings. Situated in the La Candelaria historic district with excellent and cheap food & bars all around. Hostel was very clean, comfortable beds, internet access, laundry service and a very laid back atmosphere. If you looking for a party, look elsewhere however. Highly recommended for folks looking for a safe hostel in walking distance to everything.

Pros: One very friendly member of staff, very secure, generally quiet, breakfast included, good wifi and 2 computers for small hostel, small but well equipped kitchen. Cons: Felt a bit damp, if you needed to go out before about 8.30 you had to go and wake up a member of staff to unlock the front door (also fire risk as locked in), breakfast started at 8.00 but was usually at least 20 mins late, always had difficulty finding reservation details.

Complicated to get to the hostel. Both me and my girlfriend arrived there separately and both cab drivers had a really hard time finding the street. B-fast really good. Slept on a dusty pvte that was a nightmare for my allergies. The staff was frienldly, the maids were extremely nice. One guy at the front desk was really rude, I showed up and he said, que quieres? "what do you want" not even hi. It was a little intimidating and shady to see the police just hanging out all the time in the hall.

This is a good spot if you´re looking for a quieter hostel right in the middle of La Candelaria, in a 300 year old building. Breakfast is great. The rooms are very clean. It´s worth getting the room with the private bath. The one big downside was that the hostel did not provide a map of Bogota. I know it´s a small thing, but after travelling for a while, a warm greatting upon arrival with a quick explaination of a map is great for orientation.
