Non service attitude among the staff, no lockers, no equipment in the kitchen, heavy construction work starting at 07.00. All and all a very bad experience!

Worst hostel we have ever stayed in. Arrived in a taxi luckily as otherwise we would not have found it. It was in a dingy area not very close to the centre. The entrance/ communal area was dark and dingy. The man spoke rudely in spanish to my partner, and although he spoke english he refused to use it to speak to me, just replied in spanish. You have to pay for everything! Even the shower and kitchen. Everything is very unclean! Floors are always dangerously slippery. Dangerous unstable stairs.

The room itself was very large and very clean although we had an ensuite which didn't have a shower curtain so water went everywhere and it became quite smelly. The staff were incredibly rude and unhelpful. We were wanting to stay for a few weeks and learn Spanish but we decided to go elsewhere because they were so unfriendly. Also, breakfast was very ordinary. Two bread rolls and a teaspoon of jam per person. Do the maths- it's not quite enough. And don't even bother asking for more!
