Very safe place just in the center of the business area with lots of people around during the daytime. Good facilities and very nice staff
Super friendly and knowledgeable folks. We had a 2am flight and they let us continue to use the facilities for the extra day without charge. Good spot for budget travelers.
This place is well situated, in a very secure area of San Salvador. It is very clean, has a good wifi connection and the staff is helpful. It is a little bit overpriced.
Pretty good hostel. Very rule oriented (not too noisy after a certain amount of time, etc). If you're looking into having a large "mini party/get together", this probably isn't the place. However, there are excellent personnel willing to help you with any questions you have. Taxi, tour recommendations, etc. Rooms are clean and lockers are present. However you will need to bring your own lock. The hostel in a safe are with some good restaurants around and a shopping center that's not too far.

Caution: do not use the CITI bank atm in the futura tower bldg (which looks very legitimate) my card just got compromised!! This is located in the afluent part of the town which is safe but not really close to much happening, the bar/ restaurant area is 20 mins walk.
This hostel is located in a safe area with an easy reference point (Crown Plaza) and numerous buses that can take you downtown (30mins) or to bus stations. Stores and food are located within easy walking distance. Wifi is good and reliable enough for Skype. Rooms are ok, with lots of electrical sockets and personal fans. There is no AC. Laundry is also available for a fee. Staff were very helpful in recommending day trips and which buses to take. The main staff also spoke perfect English.
Felt safe and the owner was very helpful! Felt like I could make myself at home
I was obviously concerned about the security situation in El Salvador - however the owner, Malcolm, is correct in what he says - great neighbourhood and unless you look for trouble (drunk at 2am) you are as safe as any major city. The hostel is next to a fancy mall and lots of restaurants. The owner was the type of guy who said 'let me find out' to every question and then actually did. The assistant was cool too. This is not a party hostel, excellent for atmosphere that means quiet
This hostel feels like a second home from the minute you walk through the door. The owner is a sweet man who happily gives travel advice and transport directions. We met a lot of friendly travellers and stayed much longer than we planned on staying.
Quite confusing to find but more down to weird street structures. Owner very knowledgeable and very helpful as well as other staff friendly. Not loads of hostels here but would definitely recommend staying here, good backpacker vibe, facilities, safe location and overall city seems very pleasant
This is a great hostel- good rooms and lots of people around. Location is very safe, in a nicer part of town with easy bus rides to other areas. Very helpful and friendly staff.
