The hostel has a nice cosy and homely feel to it. The rooms were very clean. The beds were comfy and warm and had extra blankets. The staff are a delight. Would definitely stay here again!

More a guest house than a standard hostal.Very homely, great kitchen to cook your own meal, very very comfy bed, wonderful and genuine owners. It's the perfect place to enjoy the beauty of San Cristobal De Las Casas

Amazing little home stay style of hostel. The family are really lovely and care for you as if you are their own children! Arturo is a wealth of knowledge about everything and Erika will cook you a nice breakfast. Location is great as it's only a short stroll into town (2 mins max!)

The lock of the door broke and we were locked inside the room for an hour till other guest came to help us swiping a card through the gridlock to open it from outside. We had a private room but water in the shower didn't work so we had to use the general bathroom. The staff was super kind and the overall facilities are fine, we just had bad luck I guess...

Low water pression in the shower, water runs hardly, baaad smell coming out the bathroom.great location, very nice owners.

This place is more of a guesthouse. Owners don't actually live here but live in a different one, Hostel Erika so a lot of the time there isn't actually any staff here, so it'd be a good idea to write down the address of Hostel Erika as well in case no one is there. No one was there when we knocked on the door but luckily another person staying there let us in, if it wasn't for him we could have been stuck out the front for who knows how long. There's no sign out the front either.

Thanks for booking with us. We have no employees. So take advantage of the evening to go out and buy the breakfast things and need daily cleaning. We put at your disposal a local phone call to us and we have whatsapp. We need people who understand us and our home is made especially for you travelers, why we have such low prices so you can stay more days in the city that saved money to stay with us and you can go to a good tour, or a movie or a restaurant or save money, that's our concept.

There was noone when we arrived and it was locked from inside. Fortunately one guest came down and opened the door for us. We expected the owners to come right away but they didnt come. We called from my phone several times (one of the two numbers wasnt working) and they made us wait over an hour and half. They didnt empty the trash box till we couldnt bare the smell and asked them to do so. Breakfast time was always very late (around 9:30) and not flexible.

Dear, Always we send an email when someone booking, we show how to get to the house, send maps, photographs and note that we do not have a sign outside and please do indicate the arrival time is very important. Sorry for breakfast hours but our daughter enters kindergarten 9:00 am and we are sorry and our breakfast is a courtesy.

Incredible value for money little hostel in San Cristobal de las Casa. Lovely big room with ensuite. Breakfast provided each morning and the hosts were more than welcoming and happy to help with suggestions, directions and assistance planning on-going transportation. Highly recommended!

quiet area, perfect location, awesome awesome owners! perfect place!

A nice place to stay as a couple. Ended up booking an extra night and the owner also takes you on yours which is nice. A good place to go for a couple as its quiet not a party hostel
