The hostel is 20 minutes away from main tourist area. The hostel kitchen was short on equipment and not very clean. Our room had a window but because of the position no fresh flowed through and no mosquito net so alot of mosquitoes in the room. The owner was ok a bit strange seemed always be around watching appeared not to much to do

The style of the hotel is quite old and does not have much character, and it is located about 8 blocks from the main square. That said, it is good value for money in Salta and the owner is very welcoming and of good help for tips etc
