Hey :D I really liked your hostel. I want to thanks for the help and information that you gave. I will definitely recommend your hostel if my friends travel to South America. I have to leave in the morning and i didn't have the time to say goodbye but i really liked and enjoy your company and the people in the hostel. I hope to see you soon in Europe :D Good luck with everything.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Thomas is lovely and is very helpful! Bathroom is spotless, but perhaps a bit far from the room. Kitchen could use a pan and more utensils! Outdoor area is amazing!

Just great. This hostel is not clean, it's a higher level than that. Don't miss it and you'll enjoy Asunción much more.

We weren't expecting much out of asunción, but when we entered this charming garden we felt inmediately at home. We could only stay one night, but if i had had the chance i'd have stayed much longer.

When I looked at the hostel review, I thought yeah it seems like a good hostel but I might get disapointed... When I arrived... (late at night) El jardin turned out to be a real paradise. The couple owning the hostel are immensely friendly... The place makes you instantly feel welcome and it becomes natural to interact with the few other people staying there too. I ended up staying 2 more nights and I was truly in owe to El Jardin for providing me with the perfect atmosphere for serene holidays.

Great hostal, beautiful garden, top breakfast, amazing vibe and most of all wonderful owners!! We were only meant to stay in the city two days but due to the fantastic atmosphere and meeting some great people we stayed almost two weeks! This has been by far my favourite hostal in South America so far. The owners were fantastic and helped us with anything we needed, they also made it feel like a home. You would be crazy not to stay here!!

A hostel as it should be! Clean, good facilities, perfect location. And most of all, it feels like being home! The fantastic staff have great knowledge of this crazy country which they willingly share while sitting in the amazing garden, sipping to a beer from the fridge. This is the perfect place to experience Asuncion and Paraguay, which you definitively should.

This hostel was amazing. We arrived late into the bus stop and arriving at the hostel was like arriving at an oasis. Walking through the door to the garden With the smell of fresh fruit was perfect. The owners were exceptionally helpful and kind and the facilities were excellent. The room we stayed in had air conditioning, which was perfect to counteract the heat of asuncion. I loved this hostel and would have stayed for longer if we had the opportunity.

We had a wonderful stay at El Jardin and would happily have stayed longer. Thomas and Carolina are wonderful hosts, the rooms and bathrooms are clean and new. Then there is the garden.... what a joy. A true oasis in the city. Fruit trees to enjoy, shade to sit and read in and of course the daily visits from the hummingbirds. A delight.

I could not rate this hostel highly enough. We were made to feel incredibly welcome, and the owners Carolina and Tomas went out of their way to find things out for us if they didn't know. The hostel is clean, friendly, well thought out, and the garden is the perfect oasis to enjoy a beer and watch the hummingbirds after a day's sightseeing. Its very well situated, within walking distance of all the main sights. Also, Carolina runs an awesome vintage shop from the premises!
