Personally, it felt like I was at home - I see no reason why they make you turn off the tv and computers after 10.30. Just close the doors from the ´living room´ (the entrance) and no noise will go through. nice chilled out hostel, but i did just feel that I was at home and that my dad was telling me to be quiet, rather than providing a good sociable atmosphere. Location, class. Food, pretty decent. All in all, stay here, but its for the older traveller, im 23, and felt very young there

We are happy you enjoyed the majority of your stay here with us. Regarding the computers and tvs turned off is if we have the computers and ipads continual on 24 hours then they will not last as long as we would like and its to recharge for the following day and to give them a break. As for the tv we are not strict on 10.30 and as when a recent sporting event was on the guests watched it until 11.45am but our problem is that even with the doors shut the high ceilings create an echo which you can hear in the dorm nextdoor and even in the rooms at the back of the property. If we do not have rules there are those that would be respectful to other guests and those that would not care if the tv is loud or what time of the night it is. Unfortunately we have to choose between being a party hostel or one that is more laid back with a chilled atmosphere but we cannot have both.

One beautiful hostel in Granada to spend some fine days. It is a nice building, the location is great, and the staff is just fantastic. The only complaint I would point out would be the heat in the room I stayed, which, for me, was almost unbearable. However, I understand Granada is a hot city (in many senses) this time of year, and I have to admit that the staff did everything they could to try and solve my issue. Apart from that, the place is awesome!

Stayed here a couple of nights and thought the place was pretty good. The location is perfect you can walk to any place worth checking out. The staff was really nice. The facilities were alright since it's a new place they are getting everything set up which we didn't really mind. Overall nice place to stay.

Don´t stay here. While the facilities are ok - rooms are ok and so is kitchen and the hostel appears new, there were some very disappointing things that ruined our stay there.the owner got his handyman at 9am to bang his hammer very loud.at this point we woke up to see the owner looking at us in a look of ¨what can you do¨.so rude. we didn´t say anything but the next morning was the same! 9am, hammer noises. a construction site. The owner overall was rude and gave bad vibe. stay away

If we receive a bad review then as owners it is our right to make sure that we fix any problems that may have occurred so they don't happen again to any future guests but in this case I felt we should simply tell the truth to what really happened with these guests. Originally they had booked 1 night with us through Hostel World, the next morning they decided to stay an extra night. The room they were in was reserved for another couple but they did not want to move as they liked this room. We explained that we would need to ask the other couple as they had made a reservation. It was 2 hours after check out when the other couple came and they also wanted the same room so the first couple had to move to another room. When we turned over the room we found that the electrical outlet had been damaged so much that the wires could be seen. We realise accidents happen but we were not even informed so we could repair the fault for the next guests. That night this couple chatted and telling us how much they liked our placed and would recommend us etc The following night after this couple had cooked late we walked past our kitchen at 11pm to find that they had not just left in a dirty but had not washed their dishes or pans for the next guests to use. So we spend 30 mins cleaning up their mess as they were already in bed. The following morning and their last morning we found their empty food cans on the restaurant table and the ladies sanitary towel on the floor of the bedroom. By this time my staff knew they had to watch this couple as they had no regard for our hostel, the staff and more importantly other guests. At 3pm and 4 hours after check out the couple were still on property using all the facilities and cooking in the kitchen, usually other guests ask us if this is ok because they may have a late bus etc. We do not mind but for this couple we were on our toes. I asked if they were staying another night and they told me no in which I responded that they were still here and using the hotel facilities. My partner also asked them to clean up after themselves which they did this time. These last comments to them is probably what made them write a bad response and the only part of their original review that is correct is that I gave them a bad vibe which would have been when spoke with them in kitchen at 3pm. If their original review was the truth why did they stay an extra night to all the noise and an owner giving them vibes and how could I have been looking at them in their room when they woke up. Regarding the handyman and the place being a construction site we finished all our work the beginning of February. So if this couple had not said the truth in their review then they obviously knew they had done wrong in the first place and did not have any respect to the property or the guests that were there.

The Hostel is brand new. Chris and his Crew opened this place just in september. The dorm (11 beds) is huge and divided in private sectors. We can highly recommen this place! We would stay there again, for sure!
