Clean room and bathroom and walking distance to town center. Nice size backyard and washing machine on site. The owner speaks English but was not nice but seem nicer to people who can speak Spanish. And the cat who goes outside throughout the day eats from the counter where people prepare and cook food. The fur is all over the counter..unsanitary.
Hello, If i remember, you was speaking a little spanish but you also looks more friendly with english spoken people than with spanish spoken people, i think it's normal, more easy to comunicate in your native lenguage no?? And about the cat, we have two and one dog, and we put the cat's food on the counter so the dog have no access, For 99 por cent of our customers is not a problem, that place is for people they like animals. Have a nice travel and thank you for your review.

It's a quiet and therefore great place to rest between all the gorgeous hiking and adventures in San Gil. The garden is large and there are hammocks in the back, the rooms are clean, the kitchen is well stocked (proper oven, yay!) and Silvano and Ximena are super super friendly! They will help you with everything from activities to bus info to dentist and shopping recommendations. Would definitely come back.

We had a private room and it was clean, but smells a little bit like a cat. You have a big kitchen you can use and hammocks in the garden. The owner and his family is very helpful with all that you need, you can make a lot of adventure tours like rafting or they book the busticket for you. They speak spanish, french and english.

My boyfriend and I stayed in a great double room (very cheap) with a fan and window. When we arrived the staff were very hospitable, telling us all the information needed for the trips etc. The hostel is clean and a nice environment to relax in the big garden or around the TV area. The location is a little out of town but as San Gil is so small this isn't a huge problem. Only downfall is no breakfast but this seems quite common in Columbia.
Thank you very much for your review, I just want to precise than you reserve a room with NO food included, but we offer coffee and a good kitchen with all you need for make your own breakfast.
