Hostal Emalafquen Reviews

We were a group of 4 girls travelli ng together and stayed 4 nights in Hostel Emalafquen. After getting off a night bus we were exhausted and in no mood to be walking a long distance to find a hostel so we were delighted to find that it was less then 5 minutes from the bus station. The owner of the hostel, Valentina was absolutely lovely and couldnt have done enough for us. We had a cabin to ourselves and a log fire which was really cosy! Overall we couldnt recommend Hostel Emalfquen enough!

Went to Pucon for 3 days but stayed 6 and had NO reason to move. Wonderful people who were quite helpful given our limited Spanish. Just 5 minute walk from JAC bus terminal & within 5-10 minutes of great restaurants + Supermercado. Would return and do recommend this Hostal. Great garden and had we known would have opted for cottage a cottage. **** from us.

Great staff, the room was very neat, such as the bathroom. I felt like in a good hotel, the bed sheets were clean and beautiful, hot water, good kitchen, the hostel was very nearby all the hotspots, but itself was very quiet and a nice place to rest, altogether. The owner is a very lovely lady, always prepared to help and the price was very fair. Great experience.

Overall this Hostel was excellent for our needs, with clean facilities and owners, especially Valentine being very helpful and going out of her way to accomodate. We entertained our famiy and friends numbering in total 14 at a barbecue at this Hostel. I doubt this could be possible at many other places. We would definitely arrange to stay at this Hostel again if we were visiting Pucon. I would request the little home at the back however, which is where we stayed on our last visit.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Made us feel at home. When we had family gathering extra plates, etc. were offered without us asking. We felt that we could really relax and enjoy the place. The only negative was that the one cabin could do with some upgrading in kitchen. The internet was a plus and good solid connection. If we return to Pucon we will be staying here Dean and Vicky
