everything is good there, but the water is not hot, and atmosphere is a little bit strange, no one talk with each other in the common room,it's a good hostel if you want a good sleep.

I was pleasantly surprised by my stay in Hostel Era in Madrid. Clean, very friendly and helpful staff, excellent price, comfortable beds, nice common area, and small enough to feel homey. Breakfast in the morning was good, and the location is a little bit of a walk from museums, etc, but nothing to complain about at all. Lockers in the room were a bit small, but big enough for anything valuable/important. Overall no real complaints, and I had a great stay!

Good location, good staff, good breakfast. I don´t know exactly why, but hosts are not allowed to open the windows... that´s ok, maybe security. No problem about it. But the smell that it causes in the bedroom is a really bad point of the hostel. This should be reviewed.

Excellent location and very friendly and knowledgeable staff and good breakfast. On the downside the hostel lack of atmosphere and cooking facilities. Still good value for money.

The place was very clean, and the service was awesome! All their staff were friendly and helpful, I was pleasantly surprised. Breakfast was good and simple, the place is cleaned everyday. It is also a short walk away from the city center. The place is safe, and we were provided with lockers in our room. Only downside: no stove to cook with

Hostal Era is a great, cheap hostel equipped with a great and very kind staff, which is always willing to help you out! They give you your own locker and at 12 o'clock the hostel is quite, it is possible to sleep in this hostel! Moreover, it is very close to Chueca and Gran Vía is a 10 minutes' walk. I had a great stay at this hostel :D
