The owner of the hostel can help you with everything: arranging tours, telling you where to get what and what to visit in Salta! One should definitely eat in the hostel, the owner cooks like a star cook (Milanese con papas fritas is highly recommended). The portions are huge and it cost just 30,- A$ for a 3-course menu! The hostel isn't in the city center but for us (we had a room to the backyard) it was like an oasis after a long day. We stayed 6 days, after 3 our room was cleaned+new towels
