great option if you are on a budget in Santiago, location is fantastic and rooms a good size - especially if you are on the first floor. Good size kitchen and social space, everything you want in a hostel!

I stayed in many hostel around the world but this one was quite something... lets put it this way: the actual place is very different from the photos on the website... my room was bad. It was dirty and smelled petrol. Not sure what that smell was but it was similar to gasoline. The staff are very nice and helpful. Location is brilliant and they have great facilities where you can socialise with others. The only thing that drags it down is the quality of the room(s). Shower = catastrophe

For some reason, the hot water on the showers never really worked for more than 2 minutes or so. In addition, the rooms were unbearably cold at night. Even though it was the winter, I expected better insulation...

Great location, friendly and helpful staff. Bathrooms cramped and shower quality variable.

Altough the secrurity was good, I was attacked just a 100 meters from the hostel by someone who gripped me from behind to snatch a chord of my reading glasses (it was around 22:00 in the evening). It might be that he tought it was my purse hanging around my neck. However the only thing he's got was my chord. My small backpack was locked and my money belt safely stored and secured under my coat. I recommend to inform your guests about this possibility. Further I really enjoyed my stay.

Really good place

Bed bugs. It is a testimony to the otherwise strong charm of this place that I would still go back: when I woke up with big welts, the staff relocated us to a better room without bugs. Beautiful location near the park and metro line. Only four total toilets in a very large hostel causes some traffic backups for showers.

We enjoyed staying in this hostel. The common spaces are very nice. Kitchen is a bit small though ;). There are electricity plugs near every bed, you can lock up your whole backpack if you want to. The days that we spent there ( Easter) the breakfast wasnt that big and good, like we have read in the reviews.

We were only there one night but it was a pleasant stay. The common areas were nice and clean as were the kitchen and bathrooms. Huge lockers in the rooms and great location with a standard breakfast.

Location excellent but average hostel overall. Tiny area for breakfast and grumpy lady in attendance who ends proceeding on the dot of 10. Otherwise front desk staff are nice. Average to por cleanliness.

nice hostel if you want to stay only for some nights. Two baths were under construction, so it took quite some time for everybody to get a shower. The breakfast is okay. The kitchen is sufficient.
