The building where the hostel is installed is an old house and very cold and has no heating system, which I think impossible for a country of low temperatures such as Chile.

Hi, I think the only thing wrong was cleaning the bathroom. The part of the shower he needed a deeper clean

Paying 54usd a night for a private room at the hostal , i would expect at least a clean bathroom , along with clean bedsets , not what we got . the location however is a couple of blocks away from museo bellas artes , and the hip neighborhood of bellavista , the place seems a little crowded , hardly any space to relax and interact with other guests , rooms on the first floor wont get any sleep , too close to the reception .

I think it is a good place to stay if you don't care too much about where are you staying. Things are a little bit disordered in terms of attention. People who works there is very nice (with some exceptions). It is well located so you can always take a walk.. It is a very small place and there is no room where you can talk at night with other people without annoying those people who are sleeping. In general a nice place. I recommend it for a few days.

Absolutely fantastic place to stay. The staff were amazing, location was perfect, and it was social without being a party hostel. Couldn't ask for more!

Very nice Hostel...! It's on a small street that sometimes doesn't appear on the maps, but that is not a problem. Very close to the subway, with some restaurants and bars nearby. Our room was old and simple, which doesn't mean it's bad...it was very clean and pleasant and the ensuite bathroom facilities seemed to be new. There was a small yard attached, where the waterpumps and central heating were, very nice for the summer days we spent there. Staff always helpful and very friendly.

Extremely clean, friendly and helpful staff, great kitchen, has quiet spaces to relax and areas for socialising. The only problem is the 19% extra charge for paying in pesos and the 5% extra charge for paying with credit card.

The kitchen and kitchen atmosphere was good. The room was well siuated on top of the building with fresh air coming in from two sides. But the carpet was dirty and stained, and the bathoom was rather dirty - the shower cabin was a wreck. But the staff and guests were fine people. WE HAD TO PAY 10% DEPOSIT TWICE BECAUSE THE HOME PAGE DID NOT WORK PROPERLY, and we could not get one of the deposits back trough the website.

The breakfasts here are delicious. The staff members go out of their way to be friendly. They are so personable! The building is labrynthine and cool. This is not a party hostel, but it is a social hostel. I met so many lovely people. Most cities depress me -- example, Buenos Aires and Mendoza -- but Santiago made me so so happy. The Chileans are so friendly. What a delightful hostel. -- Garth el Canadiense

Amazing hostel, great kitchen and rooms! Super clean with awsome bathrooms, chill out room and fast wi-fi all around the big building it's in. Super close to all the great things Santiago has to offer. Amazing staff and an overall great stay. Highly recommended hostel! Would go back!
