Hostal Gala Madrid Reviews

Very central. Nice people. Very close to metro, shopping, restaurants and all sightseeing sites. Like their shower room. Only served cookies for breakfast, coffee and soda vending machines available only on certain hours. Just need to be more specific about the location like being near to Sushi restaurant and next to gift shop or facing Topolino Restaurant. Otherwise, highly recommended. Basically paying for its location which is very accessible.

It's a very nice hostel. It's situated in a central position but in the saqme time it's quiet and peacefull, very clean. Staff very very kindle. I can recommend it as one of the best hostel in Madrid. Rocco Maccarone 24.10.2012

Very good hostel!

The staff went out of their way to help with all our enquiries. Great shower. Very noisy out in the street on Friday and Saturday nights. Rooms tastefully decorated.

Lovely room and the girls on Reception were very helpful. A great place to stay in Madrid!

Tea & coffee would be nice in the rooms.

We are greatly indebted to Jaime, one of the owners. He helped my girlfriend and I get to the emergency room as she had severe abdominal pains. Jaime called his close friend who was a taxi driver to rush us to the hospital. The driver declined payment saying it's the least he could do for Jaime. We were in the ER for 6 hours and the staff welcomed us back and notified Jaime that we were ok. If their generosity isn't convincing enough the place is centrally located and in front of a metro line.

An excellent hostal, clean, the staff very nice. They help us with lost of questions n doubts we got! N for sur I go back n stay I there!
