Positive: Centrally located. The private rooms are big and cleaned every day. Staff is friendly and helpful. Negative: Good location except that it's near several bars/clubs so it's impossible to sleep without ear plugs. Security isn't great--they leave the front gate open a lot and they ask you to leave your key when you go out but they then leave them unattended on the front desk. The showers are unreliable (the water is varies between cold and room temperature) and the pressure is bad.

The private bathroom was a transparent cube with no door. Breakfast was also not great.

Great place for people wanting to be in party part of quito if you like being in the hub and don't mind the partying at night this is a great hostel. Beds are super comfortable and everything ran pretty smoothly with our large group.
