It was a great hostel, very clean and nice. The only problem we had was that they woke us up a bit later than what we asked for and that if you are going to Machu Picchu, and you want to take the bus to the site, you need to buy the bus ticket in advance in a booth, not in the bus.

I expected this hotel to be good from the other reviews, but it sucked! They tried to make us pay immediately when we arrived, before we even saw the rooms. The bathroom was flooded when we arrived after visiting Machu Picchu because the toilet had been leaking, and there was no one working. We waited for two hours for the owner to show up, who managed to mumble an apology and put us in another room. While we were waiting, the really nice waiter at the restaurant found towels for us, but didn't

1) The reception was empty most of the time. 2) Nobody was in the dinning at breakfast time so we had to left the hostel without breakfast (as many other guests). As the reception was empty, nobody can hear our claims... 3) You can enter in the and go to the rooms anytime since it is always open and nobody is in the reception. 4) The water came in two flavors: cold or bolied. You can choose! 5) Light in the room was out of service.

It was a very nice experience! The room was great and the staff very helpfull. It only 5 minutes walk from the train station. It has a supermarket in front but be careful the owner is a cheater. The shower was very nice! Solo hay cosas buenas de decir sobre este hostal. Aunque no tienen ordenadores o internet (el internet que tienen va tan lento que no merece la pena)

When we arrived our room was leaking, so we were moved to another room, but with 2 single beds, not 1 double and still had to pay the same price. Good location, but the hostel is really noisy (maybe it was just the people who were staying there at the time). Pretty boring place really. Warmish rooms, and clean.

Perfect for our one night stopover before leaving for Machu Picchu. They were happy to look after our bags whilst we climbed up to the ruins, and also prepared a snack for us the night before free of charge when we told them we'd be leaving too early for breakfast.
