Nice and very friendly staff, they dont speak english very well though. The location is not so close to anything, but still its a safe neighbourhood and there are cheap restaurants close by, also Brisas del Titicaca folk dance show is very close, so go see that if you are staying here. You will learn to take the local bus in Lima if you stay here, and that is a nice thing to brag about. Definantly not a party hostel but nice for relaxing and finally, nice juice stand down on the corner.
This is my second time visiting Peru and I actually have felt safer as I become more aware of there times and culture. The hostel is located in the heart of Lima and it's within walking distances of the city's attractions. There's plenty of public transportation in the area, Nelly and Fernando the owners were very hospitable and even cooked the traditional plate of ceviche for me, it was amazing. Considering the pros and cons I would say that the affordability of the hostel makes it worth it.
