Hotel has cute courtyard and awesome rooftop terrances with sun chairs and a view of the cathedral. The rooms are basic and pretty clean. The bathrooms, however, were grimy and moldy, and there was no hot water the two days we were there.

Deafening noise during the night because the girls from staff invited their boyfriends over for a private party on the rooftop, exactly over our room. When my husband complained with the owner that we couldn't sleep he just said: But who is bothering you? In this situation the strong odors from the bathroom became kind of helpfull as with the windows closed they send us on the edge of a coma. Wireless and cable were out of service various times.

The bathroom was really small and there was hardly any water in the sink (the shower was fine, though) and the bed mattresses were really hard but on the other hand the owner was very nice and the hostel itself clean and pretty, in a good location. Fine to spend a day or two.

Great location, great deal in this city! The host is a great person and welcomes you like a real mexican! We had a fantastic talk with him and he explained us everything about the sights in Taxco and the surroundings! When you're in Mexico, you shouldn't miss this place and experience!
