The large amount of hammocks in the garden make this a great place to relax after a day of activities. The food from the restaurant is really tasty. Very nice hostel
About a 10 minute walk from the beach but no big deal. The rooms are basic and a bit hot but fine. They have a great bar and restaurant area at this place and the food is amazing, hands down the best food I've ever had at a hostel, its upscale restaurant quality and still fairly cheap...even if you don't stay here have a feed at the restaurant.
great hostel to stay. staff is very helpfull, kind and professional. the restaurant is excellent as well. the only thing is the lack of ac. it's almost a sin not to have them in such a great house. regards
Lovely little place, plenty of hammocks and the rooftop hangout area was fantastic. The bar serves fresh fruit juice which was fantastic, only big downside was that the restaurant was shut while I was there. Rooms were basic but okay, the six bed dorm had a cool staggered layout rather than normal bunks! The area felt safe and the atmosphere was fantastic.
Popular with the European crowd, some 10 min walk (slightly uphill) to the beach and main streets. The food from the onsite restaurant was amazing (have a least on meal there). Dorms were comfortable (single fan) with lockers for valuables in the rooms (wooden) and reception (safer but only accessible 0730-2100). Staff helped organise boat into Tayrona NP and bus back (spoke English, Spanish and some French). Wonderful, non-party (at least when I visited) and busy hostel (book ahead).
Great common areas, nice restaurant and good social atmosphere. Pretty average bathroom- our shower was blocked so the whole bathroom would flood. And the only window in the dorm room was into the area where they store the beer bottles so not much fresh air. Most staff didn't speak English so was a little tricky for us to ask questions but they were all friendly.
Liked it, doubleroom was good value! Alot of spaces to hang around, relax and such. Good food in the restaurants although a bit pricey for backpackers. Breakfast was a bit boring considering you had to pay. But still, nice atmosphere and such
Nice and relaxed hostel on the top of a hill.
The best hostel I've stayed; in after much travelling this felt like a lush retreat in gorgeous grounds with plenty of chilling out areas and views over the whole of taganga. Its a short walk from the action but well worth it and the French chef makes a great filet mignon...The rooms are basic and the staff helped us organise trips. Great crowd staying here too, a really chilled vibe and you wake up to the sounds of nature every morning. We stayed longer than anticipated just to be here.Perfect.
It is a great place and we would definitely go there again, just for the sake of the chilled atmosphere..its takes a like walk to get to the beach, but this is totally fine! There is a great Barbecue place at the hostel, so get a fresh fish at the Little harbor and have it for dinner! It's cheap and incredibly delicious!

Overall great hostel. Friendly staff make it easy to book all kinds of activities around Taganga. Beautiful view of the bay on the seaview terrace and plenty of hammocks to lounge in. My only complaint: the dorm rooms don't have screens on the windows, giving easy access to the mosquitoes. I wasn't bit too badly, but other backpackers were eaten alive. Bring mosquito net for sleeping!

Not a very clean hostel. There are cockroaches everywhere! Besides that... the bedroom was very nice, comfortable beds, lockers which are a bit small. The bathroom was clean, and the shower fine, but it was next to the kitchen, so that was very loud, and sometimes smelled bad! Also nobody likes cockroaches in the shower/ bathroom/ bed/ kitchen etc... The kitchen is a little small, and not very well equipped, but it does the job. I recommend going into the city to Exito to do food shopping.
The hostel is set a little back from the main strip, but it doesn´t really matter. This is among the best hostels I´ve ever stayed in. The place has obviously taken a great amount of investment: rooms are spacious and have bathrooms and fans. Some rooms have a kitchenette. The hostel´s kitchen is run by a Frenchman who knows how to cook, and the food is relatively cheap. The views from the veranda are excellent. Well recommended.
Great hostel, loved all the spacious common areas, the juice bar and delicious restaurant!
Very nice hostel, nice place to relax and disconnect, the staff are very kind, the food from the restaurant, very good (the Ceviche, miam!). A bit "far", but it's alright!
Loved this place, one of the best hostels in south america. It has everythig you want and the restaurant attached to it is amazing, such good food. Definately recommend this place and its chilled vibe.
We stayed two nights in different rooms. One was close to the reception and a bit noisy on Saturday night, but the other room was much more quiet. The hostel has very nice common facilities like hammocks etc and an excellent restaurant. Biggest disappointment for us was the staff: very uninterested and slow. It took ages to get things done.
Great Hostel! Amazing atmosphere with lots of outdoor areas with tables and hammocks and chairs, chill music, rooftop hammocks overlooking the pueblito, and a VERY helpful tour/activity arranger. We ended up arranging out ciurdad perdida and parque tayrona tour through them, which saved lots of time and effort. We also ended up coming back and staying a few more nights in between trips, and they were able to accomodate our needs perfectly. Far enough from the center to have quiet nights!
Excellent hostel. Made my trip to Taganga that much better! The space is magnificent.
Very atmospheric hostel! they occupy a great area on which the facilities like tables or chill out corners are well distributed. The doublerooms are comfortable and include a safe and an own bathroom. Only the prices for breakfast/dinner are exagerated for normal budget focused backpackers.
