Mixed feelings on this one. The hot water was more like a warm trickle and there was always loud music playing until about 10p.m which is no good if you´re a light sleeper. Would def advise speaking good Spanish or you may struggle but that goes without saying. Town & bus station are only 1.5 soles in a taxi or a 15 min walk which is handy and neighbourhood is nice but there aren´t many places to eat nearby which is an annoyance. Local taxi drivers didn´t know where the hostel was so it took a while to find. Rooms were spacious, but it was very noisy all night due to music playing downstairs echoing up the hall and thin windows. The main problem though was the wiring. Plugs in the bedroom sparked and I got quite a bad electric shock in the shower due to bad wiring there. Staff didn´t seem to care when I complained.
