Hostal La Mimosa is not a hostel (no kitchen, food storage etc) but a hotel/guesthouse. It is very nice, well furnished and decorated. The pool is the best feature. Breakfast was OK. Rooms were small and lacked AC. Sheets were not changed during my stay. Located in nice quiet residential area close to bus lines for easy access to the city center. Multilingual hosts were friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay again. although I'd want a room with a balcony to escape the heat.

Had a wonderful stay at this hostal ! It was the perfect location and the owners and workers were more than helpful and a joy to meet. The check in and check out were easy , buses nearby to palma and other ports. Breakfast time at the hostal was great to sit and sip capuccino and eat good food while meeting travelers from all over the world. Met some great people there and was my highlight of staying in Mallorca to stay at this place. Would stay in a heartbeat again. It felt like home!

Lovely place&excellent value for money. The pool was wonderful and so blissfully empty in comparison to the packed beaches! 95% of the staff were lovely and super helpful, the breakfast was very nice and the coffee AMAZING. Even though it is out of the city centre, the bus route 3 is easy and frequent. Also, within five minutes of the hostel there are many nice eating venues - Cala Nova, Indian Ocean and Tito's (not the actual name, but run by Tito) to mention a few. THANK YOU MIMOSA :)

Very nice Hostal It is located in Cala Major, which is a cosy town nearby Palma (only 20 minutes by bus). You can easily take the bus to several small costal towns. The hostal itself is very charming. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The pool is clean and very refreshing in the heat of Mallorca in August. At night we had some trouble with loud and drunk guests, but luckily this was only for two nights (we where there seven nights). Breakfast is good, value for your money.

Great place... I really enjoy it. The staff r great v helpful. Near to many beachs but I little far from the centre that's ok as the bus stop it's just 4 min from the hostel. The breakfast was ok. But mayb could have some fruits...

Overlooks the water, had a stunning view from our room! Comfy bed! Good breakfast and great location! No directly in town but close to bus stop and tons of restaurants right near the hotel. Also the best beach is a 15 minute walk from the hostel or a 4 minute bus ride! Staff is also accommodating with check in time

It was a great experience. I've been traveling for years and I can say that this hostal was one of the best that I've ever been. It had all that I was looking for and besides something very special, warmness. I've felt like home.
