This is a family owned hostel in the very center of Madrid - short walking distance to most places and very convenient. The family is SUPER nice and friendly - they take good care of the rooms and clean daily. Overall a GREAT experience.

It's very well located, 3 min from Gran Via metro station. The family running the place was very nice and helpful. Everything was nice and clean.

I found this hostel very clean, relaxed and welcoming. A printed information note, in English, would have been helpful for overcoming initial language difficulties.

Very happy with our choice to stay here, and we will be back in a month. This is a very quiet place and it is smack bang in the centre of Madrid. Clean, simple accomodation for travelers on a budget. If you want a social place to meet lots of people then this is not it, but if you just need a good place to crassh, this hostel is perfect

The hostel was quiet at night and I couldn't hear the street noise at all even though it was in a busy area but the ladies who work there and clean started very early so it was very loud in the hallway starting around 9 maybe, so don't expect to sleep in much. Otherwise I thought the hostel was nice, I got what I paid for!

Location is excellent. Just within minutes you are on the main streets and metro station. The old lady (the owner) does not speak English. I did not speak Spanish and it is still ok. Room is basic and very clean with your own basin. The only issue is that the lady's husband turns on the TV loudly at about 8am everyday. Also you can hear others conversation coming from the corridor. But it depends on whether you are extremely sensitive to sound or not. For me it is acceptable.
