A good value for money hostel not too far from town (5 min walk to main square). Lovely staff with a lot of knowledge and able to help with all tour bookings. Great, sunny, internal courtyard perfect for topping up the tan.

Very nice hostel with friendly staff who are happy to help book tours for you. Only a 5 min walk from the centre. The hostel courtyard is very nice.

Very nice hostel in San Pedro for a good price. Much better than other hostels in this town

Ok hostel with a cool courtyard for hanging out and a good kitchen if you want to cook and try and save a few buck's, cos San Pedro is expensive, yo. Dorm rooms closest to the street are crazy hot at night - you need to sleep (if possible) with the door and window to the room open, which isnt ideal.

The kitchen was dirty, full of flies flying around. The mixed bedroom had very little space to drop the suitcases, and since it was little, it was very hot. The location is not that far from the center because San Pedro is tiny, but you have to pass over a "fly market" to get to it, and at night it was lonely and seemed dangerous, especially for women. The pictures of the hostel are very different from the reality. Altought, at night there is a bonfire, which is nice to gather around at.

We really enjoyed our time here. Loved the fire out the back. Bit of a walk from the center of town but well worth it. San Pedro is an expensive town but 1 which we would have loved to have spent more time here with the crew from Hostel Laskar.

We really enjoyed our stay there and extended from 3 to 5 nights! Great atmosphere with evening fire! The staff was very friendly and helpful with booking the tours for us. The room was clean and big enough. Thanks Natan and team, we will definietely recommend you!

5 minute walk from the town centre, some of the staff are very friendly and helpful, others were not sure much. The wifi is decent. The kitchen was also good with enough equipment. The common area was nice and the beds were comfortable and clean. The shared bathrooms got fairly dirty at times.

The hostel was okay. Lack of air con made the rooms stuffy at night. Too many flies in San Pedro in general and they definitely don't avoid the hostels! I was in one of the rooms close to reception and it was hard to sleep with people arriving/departing at all hours for excursions and the people talking at the front desk. Also tricky to find. There are no road signs from the bus station so print a map or something before arriving!

Generally good location - walking distance of 10 min to the centre of San Pedro. Staff is attentive and friendly. Unfortunately the dormitories are close to reception - very loud until night, small and the heat stuck as well during the night. But we had a god time anyway......

Good hostel with convenient location just a couple blocks from the main part of town. Wifi was reliable and the common area quite nice, with helpful staff. The rooms were basic but good (I was in a double room so can't speak for the dorms).

Nice and helpful staff. Cleanliness is taken seriously there, although the dusty conditions thwart some of the staff's efforts. Location a bit out of town, but just 5 minutes walking; the nieghbourhood is relatively quiet. Two bathrooms is too short for the number of guests. Lockers are small, outside rooms and in a very inconvenient location (outside in everyone's way or under the sun). Security is a joke with the room's window open 24 hours onto the street. But would still definitely recommend.

I really liked this hostel! Its a little out the ways from the main square which was nice as it was quieter. The man on the front desk was super friendly and aways happy to help. The courtyard is awesome with hammocks and a fire pit! There is no breakfast but the kitchen is well stocked and they provide tea and coffee. I was in the room right off the main reception so it was a little noisy but I managed. Would recommed!

I found the atmosphere very relaxed, it is possible to deposit a bike there. The staff was helpful, and very welcoming to allow me reorganise my baggage and showering after my hiking day and before leaving on an overnight bus. The Hostel is a mere 5 minute walk out of the very centre, quite close to the foodstands. Even if it might not look like it to everyone, it is a safe area. Some of the rooms were loud in the evening, and the bed was very shaky, but also not too expensive.

The staff are just amazing here. Super friendly and helpful. Also, the courtyard with all of the hammocks are a great way to spend any of your free time. They light a fire in the evening to sit around. It's only a 10 min walk to the center and so much nicer than the other hostels there. Definitely recommend!!

The staff were really great! They made the stay! They were really helpful about the tours and activities. We did all the tours through the hostel and they were great. The downside is the dorm rooms. I would not stay in a dorm here. They are right by the front door and next to the front desk. Extremely loud rooms. Very hot but no bars on the windows which go to the street. However private rooms were just fine but do not stay in the dorms! We stayed in both.

A bit pricey but all the hostels are about that price. I liked that it was slightly out of town (only a 5-10 minute walk though) Reception were really nice and helpful! The trips they can book for you are really good and the company you go with is good! Wifi was a bit funny at times. Good social areas inside and outside. Would definitely recommend!

Good location everything works, friendly staff. Nice patio. I had to stay one night across the road at Hostel Tatais, which was calmer, rooms were bigger, and they had a less touristic atmosphere with mostly chilenean guests. But, nothing wrong with Hostal Laskar, exept I found it a bit "busy" for my taste.

The hostel is close (5 min) to the bus terminal and about 8-10 minutes to the centre. The staff really helped us on getting information and reserves to different places such as Geisers del Tatio and bike rentals. The kitchen was fine, we were allowed to store our own food in the fridge (our cookies were eaten by someone else, though) and they also have tableware to eat; you only need to get food to cook. Finally, here's a backyard with magnificent sky views at night. Would definitely recommend.
