It is a great hostel, the breakfast is delicious and the people are very nice! There is only one negative comment. There is a lot of noise around the hostel, traffic and bars, so bring good earplugs! :)

we stayed in a room in front of the street, ant it was very loud, because the traffic. And downstair the hostel there is a pub with loudly music until late.

Very nice building, breakfast served on the lovely balcony, decent rooms, free Internet, and all within walking distance of the Plaza de Armas.

The location is noisey because on the busy streets it`s on. On weekends it is impossible to sleep because of the LOUD disco downstairs. People from the disco came upstairs to to hostel to snoop around, some to use the washroom. The washrooms are tiny and become dirty very quickly. They don`t empty the gabage in the washroom until it is overflowing with toilet paper and there was never hot water, even in the early mornings. The kitchen was ALWAYS filthy! I could never actually cook there.

Our room smelled a bit like musty cigarette smoke, and the comforter had burn holes in it and grease stains on it. The furniture looked pretty worn...But the bathroom was great, waterfall shower head was wonderful--and the bathroom itself was very very clean. Our TV didn't work properly and the wonderful front desk staff switched it out for us--THANK YOU, we were so tired! Free Wi-Fi was convenient. The breakfast was fairly basic, bread, juice, and coffee/tea.

they should finished the works in the hotel and find another place to have the breakfast (better if inside)
