I really enjoyed to be there, the manager and the staf was very helpful and nice with me, the rooms were clean and beautiful. I went in a lower season but I think is is the same, the place is near to 3 beaches, and a little far from principal places in Puerto but since the city is small is easy to arrive. Staff helped me to find activities,so I think is a cheap & very nice place to stay. Highly recomended

Hostal Losodeli ... I extended my stay at this hostel because one cannot get better value for their money, and the town of Puerto Escondido was much more fun than I had anticipated. What made my stay so beautiful was the hospitality shown by Lisette and David, who included their guests to social gatherings such as Wednesday night at The Congo (which is a must may I add). . Secondly, I enjoyed having access to a fabulous pool in a rich garden You will love your stay at this hostel! Amagi Patrick

If there is a nicer, better place to stay in Puerto for the rates Losodeli is charging then I would be surprised. Liz and David and the rest of the staff are super friendly and are always available for help or to make peoples stay here comfortable. The hostel/hotel is kept very clean(a prerequisite for me),That includes rooms,kitchen, common areas ,bathrooms and the great pool they have.Close to bus terminal, beaches, market and nightlife and set in a cozy comfortable courtyard.Cant say enuff!

A very nice place, devinitively to recommend. Near to all beaches, the center and busstation. clean and a nice kitchen free to use. the swimmingpool is fantastic and the best is the people who works there. they are very welcoming, and nice to be around. thank you for this great time:)

Great, helpful staff! Friendly and inviting always fun to share a story with. Gave us a great discount! Place is nice and clean with a great pool, BBQ and hangout area with kitchen and tv. Dorms are kept small and definitely value for money!

After I read the comments on the hostelworld homepage I thought the location of the hostel would be really great. But in fact the hostel was near to an big road in Puerto Escondito and for my opinion quite far away from the city center. First you had eather to walk next to that highway or on smaller streets without street lights during the night. I wouldn't have booked the hostel if I had known that there are no lockers in the room. Not such a good experience compared to other Mexican hostels...

One of the best hostels that I've ever stayed in. Nice rooms, clean bathroom but the best thing about the hostel is the staff which are unbelievably friendly :)

A warm and clean family based hostel where the staff are always smiling. Close to some beautiful beaches but far enough away from the main beach to make it feel less touristy. I thoroughly enjoyedy time here and would recomend it to all couples and families.

great hostel with incredibly friendly and helpful staff. the location is 10 mins walk from the best beach in the area for chilling out and taking a dip. if you want to surf however you're better off down at zicatela. there's also a short strip with good restaurants close by. the hostal is well kept and clean. the rooms are spacious and there is a nice pool and common area. ATM and supermarket is also a short walk away.
