Very cute, small hostel. Rooms were nice and clean, but staff was not always present and not very helpful at all.

People were nice and helpful although their English//Chinese/Korean/ was not that great but their Spanish was superb. Very close to Gran Via with plenty of food near by to include McD's

We arrived at 1am, and a man immeadiately let us in and we were straight into our twin room. The room had its own shower and sink which we were pleased with. We also had a small balcony. The location is fantastic. On one side you have the buzz of Gran Via, and the other are all the small streets with cool boutique shops and bars. The street itself was quiet considering the location. Absolutely perfect for travellers not wanting to stay in a hostel just to party. You're in Madrid so head out!

Estancia individual entre semana, por trabajo. Establecimiento ubicado a un minuto del Metro Gran Vía, con habitaciones limpias y con buena atención del personal (gracias a Oriel y Pablo). Calidad-Precio inmejorable. El baño y aseo comunes siempre limpios. Muy recomendable. Indiv visit during midweek. Hostel closed to Metro Gran Via Station, 100-150m. Very clean rooms and nice staff attention (thanks to Oriel and Pablo). Really great Cost-Quality ratio. Common WC always clean. I'll come back.

Super clean and yes you share a bathroom but I never had a problem over the 5 days I was here. Might want earplugs as the fans outside can be noisy and if you want to sleep past 11:30 then you have the cleaning lady in the hall.

The hostel is located in the historical building, 5 min walk from Grand Via Metro station. The location is perfect to explore the city centre on foot, 10-15 min walk from Plaza del Sol, not far away from the Real Palace. There was a part-time receptionist (from 9 a.m. till 10 p.m.). We lived in the twin room with a terrace (but there were no furniture on the terrace). “+” Perfect location, cleanness. “-” There was the first hostel where we had to pay for left-luggage service (2 EUR). No kitchen.

The location was perfect! We almost didn't have to use the subway. Very central and near to every thing. The rooms and the bathrooms were very clean! It exceeded our expectations!

Great location! Solidly a clean, safe place to make your base when you see Madrid. Definitely not the typical "backpacker" vibe, but that's kind of a plus for me anyway.

I was staying a night at Machin. It is near to GranviIa Station and Walking to distance to SOL station. I stayed in a private room and the window is towards to street. In the night was quite loud outside since there is a pub opposite to this Hostel. I didn't have enough sleep. But the Hostel is quite clean. I heard from other members stayed in the hostal in a mixed dorm since this dorm doesn't have window to the street, for them way quite good to stay there.

This is the most quiet hostel we've been, although is located 50m to Gran Via, we didn't hear a thing during the night. It's Clean and safe. If we return to Madrid I'll be back there!

I stayed in a private room on the second floor of the hostal. It is the only bedroom on this floor, besides access to the balcony for all of the guests. The room, also, had its own private balcony looking over Calle Valleverde, which was perfect for the afternoon siesta to enjoy the wonderful weather in Madrid. The hostal is small, so if you are looking for a vibrant hostal full of travelers, this place will not be for you. It was pretty quiet during my stay.
