All rooms are private (some ensuite) and there is plenty of hot water. Our friendly staff can assist in arranging Spanish classes at the nearby CEDEI language school or daytrips within Ecuador.

Latest Review
We really enjoyed our time at this hotel. The garden is beautiful and the access to the kitchen to make a cup of tea was an unexpected bonus. It's just far enough from the centre to avoid too much traffic noise, but there was still the darn rooster! Also, it seems as though hotels in Cuenca don't have heating or air conditioning. The climate never gets to extremes but we found our room chilly for a few nights. All in all, Hostal Macondo was a great choice.
