Too much noisy during the night, people talking and shutting doors

We were given a room with cooking facilities as we stayed 3 nights. In a great part of the city - really enjoyed our stay.

Really superb. I was staying with three friends and when we arrived they told us that they were upgrading us to an apartment on the top floor. It was terrific, complete with living room, kitchen, a rooftop terrace! The location couldn't be more central, only a stone's throw from Puerta del Sol, close to plenty of restaurants, nightlife and everything else. I've stayed in various good budget hotels in southern Europe over the years, but this one was definitely one of the best. Highly recommended!

Staff very friendly and very good security. Lack of common room/space was an issue especially as single rooms were very small and dark.

I had an amazing stay and really appreciated how welcoming and helpful the staff was. I cannot really comment on the hostel itself because we were given a free upgrade to an apartment. However, I had an amazing stay and would definately recommend this hostel to other travelers!

Me and my girlfriend stayed here for 4 nights and we couldn't be more pleased with our choice. The room was super spacious, warm and clean. Fred, the owner, is the best host in the world! He is so nice and funny, always giving the best tips to spend a great time in Paris, saving as many money as possible. And the breakfast, what a great french breakfast! Fred even prepared for us a breakfast to go in our last day since we checked out early to catch our flight. Un gran abrazo a Fred desde Chile!

Nice hostel, nice staff and central location. We had booked a double room but got an apartment instead for the same price. Recommendable place.

As a single older woman traveling alone, I felt safe and the location could not have been better. The staff recommended places that were not so "touristy" and were a much better value. I would stay there again.
