This was a really nice hostel, but fairly far from the town square. Its also on a small one way street so we had to make alternative plans to be picked up for tours. These are just small hassles though, nothing that ruined our stayed. The staff are very friendly and helpful here as well and there is a really nice garden area though where you can hangout and eat meals. I would recommend this hostel if you don't mind walking and being slightly out of the way of everything.

Great atmosphere and very helpful staff. A bit far away from the center, but if someone doesn´t mind walking for 15 min, it´s a great choice :)

The location is good, like 10min by foot to the city center. The local market is close to the hostel. The minus for water facilities in the hostel. After 21.30, the water was cut out, so you could not take the shower and even flush the toilet!!!

The hostel was good, I like the way it was painted, the volunteering opportunities etc. Just the hot water was failing very often. Keep it up!

I only was at the hostel for about 12 hours. It's very cheap and the beds are comfy. The internet was fine and the breakfast was pretty standard. I had a cold shower and decided to pay a little more and move to a better hostel. No real problems at the hostel :)

A really nice hostel, the staff was very helpful with planning my machu picchu trek (which was amazing) and the 3 bed dorm was just great! The only thing I didn't like so much that there was no water later at night. Not even cold one. But all in all I loved my stay there! If you like a nice place to relax in Cusco, this is it!

Ouverall It is very Nice. 2 pt to improve: hot water to be able to shave & remind some of your guest to be more respectful when leaving early, arriving late or using common area (kitchen, Internet, etc...) Good job keep going ;-)

Very good hotel and very good value for money. The staff is very friendly, the rooms are clean and comfortable, only the space for the kitchen leaves to be desired.

The hostel is a cute and transitional building. The staffs there are quite helpful and treat me like family member! Even I left my stuffs in the hostel then they keep telling me they will keep my stuffs till my friend come to pick them up! I had a good time to stay there that's why I stayed at Hostal Magico and Cusco more longer than I planned.

We stayed in a 6-Bed dorm. The value for money was really good. We used the kitchen here to cook. It was REALLY cold though and you have to walk quite far to get to the washrooms. The walk from here to the main downtown area is quite manageable. The staff was very helpful and the dog was super cute. Good Wi-fi too.

The water stops sometimes so the toilets can´t be flushed, so for a good few hours it smells throughout the toilet areas. This also means that showers and washing up dishes are out of the question. The staff are smiley and friendly but seem to do the minimum amount possible to help you out. The rooms are freezing and smell mouldy and although they are supposed to be, are not heated up every night. They had decent facilities though. I wouldn´t recommend staying here for more than one night

This hostel is really great, with great people. Unfortunately, everything is aimed to outside life, especially the common area in the patio. The showers are not really outside, but in a drafty extra building and don't always have hot water. Well, it makes life a bit hard during the cold or the rain season. It's a bit off the center, but the area isn't dangerous at all.

lovely place with nice interior and very comfortable beds! its great value for money. they will charge you 13 soles for a night, no matter where you booked it, but that is still great value for the money! Good atmosphere, great people, no party hostel, but much better. I highly recommend!

I really enjoyed my stay at Hostel Magico. The staff were friendly and helpful and there was always someone around if you had a problem. Great location for me as a volunteer at the project but also a good location for reaching the centre of Cusco. The TV room was great for rainy afternoons and the courtyard perfect for the odd periods of sunshine. The only complaint I would make relates to breakfast - I don't think trading my portion of jam for an extra butter is going to break the bank! Stingy

Hostel Magico was the worst experience during our all trip. We arrive after a trek and night bus and were just hoping to sleep. But it was terrible : everything was so dirty ! Beds, room, bathrooms, everything. The bathrooms were horrible : hairs everywhere, sticky spots. And our beds were so dirty, and insects came crawling out when I opened my bed. The worst was the staff, who just didn't care and refused to change our sheets. My only advice is to never go there. Sincerely.

We loved this place and decided to stay longer than we first planned. They didnt have any dorm rooms available for our last 3 nights that we booked through hostelworld so they put us up in a double room for the same price. The living room has two computers and good wireless internet that you can also get in most of the rooms. Also has hot showers that work most of the time and a small kitchen.

Hostel is great value for its price. You also get to meet many fellow travelers. Only con is location, which is a bit apart from the main square and quite dangerous to go out during the night. Totally recommended.
