This was more of a hotel than a hostel. It had very clean bathroom with hot showers. The room was carpeted and felt warm. Bed was comfortable. Lots of channels on the Tv. It was just dated thats all.. Good location also..The staff have no english and so it lead to some confusion at times unfortunately. It felt a bit unfriendly too but perhaps this was just a language barrier. Good breakfast too (included) But it was $40 per room per night so u would want it to be better than a hostel!

this was more of a hotel than a hostel. breakfast was great (omelette too) and wi-fi, hot showers, only a 5-minute walk to the main square and street where the restaurants are. recommended a good half-day tour to the floating islands too.

nice quiet very clean hostal, the staff spoke good english and were extremely helpful with our tour of the floating islands, the breakfast was nice, the location was about 5 min walk from the main street. not a party hostel.

It is more like a hotel than a hostel, but is in a good location with clean rooms and bathrooms and a good breakfast. I thought offering a pick up from the bus station for $7US was a bit rich when the taxi only cost 5 soles

I reckon one of the best hostels I have seen Omar the front desk man was great and the location was excellent as Puno can be quite noisy

Maria Angola inn was amazing! The staff was wonderful. They were extremely helpful and kind. The accommodations were superb, the facilities were clean and comfortable. There\'s a fridge full of beer and plenty of new friends to be made. The location is wonderful and it\'s just a short walk down cobblestone streets to get to a variety of historical, cultural, and culinary experiences. I would definitely recommend Maria Angola inn. I can\'t wait to go back!

This hostel really deserves its great press. The rooms are spotless and the beds have actual duvets which more than make up for the lumpy pillows. The showers are a real high point, powerful and honestly hot 100% of the time and free internet. The crown jewel though is the staff. All speak perfect English and are the most helpful and knowledgeable (Omar in particular) that we have come across anywhere. A great place to start any trip to Peru.

More like a hotel, it\'s a bit outside the central (since Puno is quite small, it doesn\'t really matter). The breakfast is rather simpel, but okay. It\'s clean and the rooms are quite big with a hugh, hot shower. Nevertheless, it is rather expensive compared to what you get elsewhere...

This was perfect. I have traveled around the world and this is by far the best hostel I\'ve stayed in. The staff was extremely helpful, and honest with arranging all tours around Puno and lake Titicaca. The hotel is very clean and the beds were comfortable and plenty of hot water. Everyone was nice and accommodating when necessary. Although it is a short walk from the center, the neighborhood is safe, Nothing was too much trouble!. I highly recommend this place to anyone traveling to Puno!

In the whole visit to Peru, this is the best hotel that we have been, very comfortable and warm rooms with heating, nice view toward the lake Titicaca, the hot water is very good, the bathroom is very wide and clean, the room is beautiful. Just we got there the staff was friendly and helpful with us; the breakfast had a lot of delicious things. It is just 4 minutes waking to get the main street, this hotel is the BEST, I recommend it to you.
