the dormitory was not very good. Remote for the air conditioner was with the staff so we had to requestthem to switch it on and in the morning they would open the door themselves to switch the air conditioner off. there was nothing in the kitchen for breakfast, you have to buy your own stuff and cook.

Great Hostel to stay in. Very Clean. The Staff could be better, their was only one that was very helpful and provided great service which was the owners daughter. I would definitely recommend it to others looking for somewhere cheap to stay.

This hostel has no security, everyone could pass the front door without any problem. We've made the reservation for a room with 4 people, though we were in an open space with like 16 other person. The bathroom was not clean at all and i think that the price is too expensive for what is offered.

The host at the resepcion was so slow and he doesnt's speak english. The breakfast was in late because the host was lazy to prepare it after I told him twice that we were ready to eat. we waist time for him. Than we paid a private room of 4 but actualy it wasnt a room of 4, there were 4 beds inside a cage in a big room with other 32 beds.

I arrived during the US Spring Break and the hostel was full of young people who partied constantly throughout the night. They were very inconsiderate of anyone who wanted to get a little more sleep and the doors were constantly banging shut at all times of the night and they didn{t care how much noise they made and the staff did not supervise this as they do in other hostels. It's okay if that is what you are looking for but otherwise I could not recommend the hostel.

This hostel was amazing I had the best trip and hostel mayapan was my last stop. The people I met there were so much fun, we had a blast. The hotel was lovely and clean even if it was the strangest set up I've ever seen, the staff were also very nice!! I booked a tour through them and this was of a great standard. The location was brilliant a ten minute walk from the main bar area. I would definately stay here again.

Great location for partying in the main clubs of Cancun. It is literally in a semi abandon mall. A women stayed a night in a single bed room while we were there and was badly bitten by bed bugs. Apparently the room hadn't been used it a while. We stayed in one of the dorms and had no problems at all with them. The dorm seemed very clean and well kept.

The location was amazing. $20/night to stay in Cancun's Hotel/Resort district? Amazing. Most of the people working at the front desk were very accommodating and helpful. The rooms were REALLY big & there were two showers & two toilets per room! Again, SO MUCH SPACE! Also, the fact that there was ambient lighting from the not entirely clear windows on the walls made it not necessary to wake roommates up with light when going to bed later than or waking up earlier than them.

Grat place if you are looking at being in the Hotel Zone, A little far away from the real Cancun and downtown although if you are into paying alot more to party then this is the place to stay. I travelled to central Cancun and spent more then a third less then if I stayed in the area.

The only reason of staying there is the great location. Just a place for a bunk. That's all.

They wanted to take my passport and hold it during my stay for some reason. This doesn't seem normal and I wasn't comfortable running around Mexico without any identification as a US citizen.
