After reading all the comments i was a bit scared of going there,. However, being there haven`t been as terrible as i thought. It is 5 minutes on foot from the city center. We staid in a 3 people room with ensuite bathroom, everything was really old and awful but it was clean. I would not recommend it for a honeymoon couple, but if you are just young people looking for somewhere to sleep after go clubbing and sightseeing, the place is almost perfect.

On the website they say that there is a TV which is not true (it doesn't work and they don't intend to repare it). The owner is very unpleasant. It smells bad. It's a sad place. But it's cheap and close to the city-center.

One of the main things they advertise is central heating. There is no central heating. We have never been that cold. The curtains were falling down and there was mould on the walls. The sheets were slightly damp. The toilet made gurgling sounds whenever the room next door flushed. However, it had character in that it felt like we were staying in a horror film. I particularly liked the picture of a camel. Do not stay here if you are not happy with the idea of sleeping in your coat.

They didn't turn on the heating and we had the coldest night ever in our life. The bedrooms are ok, the bathrooms very poor.

I made a reservation for one single and 1 double for a total of three people. When I arrived, I was charged for two separate rooms at a higher price than I had booked. Common areas were dank and depressing. The bathrooms were grimy. Not surprisingly the hostel was nearly empty and we were still hesitant about safety. Finally, when we tried to go to sleep the first night, the bed frame broke in half. We investigated and found that it had been previously fixed. With duct tape. Avoid this place.

Owner Comment (Show)
If you review your booking you can check that you have booked 2 double bedrooms, one double and one twin. What you had to pay is no more or less what you reserved, and on the same day and with the full establishment (although you sure it was empty) You could not change the reservation, we repeat yourself made. ..

The hostel was really good for what you pay. Main downside, black mold in the bathroom and the shower looked pretty gross. But the rooms aren't bad and seemed clean enough. I stayed there one night and was happy enough with my experience. I think a few days more and I would have started to feel a bit dirty.

I have no idea what to say but I would recommend this hostel to NO ONE...It was dirty and old...our toilet seat was broken in half, the bathroom was atrocious, the sink was leaky and let's not talk about the fact that there was NO HEAT. My friend and I were supposed to stay two nights but left after the first. We only stayed that one night because the buses didnt leave until 8am and everything else was booked. However, the staff was great and patient and understanding and refunded our money.

I had my own room for extremely cheap but the atmosphere was not great. Not a place for solo travelers looking to meet other people.

If you go in the middle of summer maybe you don't mind that it's impossible to close the window. If you choose to go in a colder season, make sure you put on your furcoat before going to sleep otherwise you'll freeze.

In a pretty good location, about 10 minute walk to Plaza Mayor. Didn't really feel as secure as I would've liked, since you have to turn your key in every time you leave, and they don't require identification when you ask for it back. A little run down, but having our own room was nice. Make sure to ask any questions you have during the day, because the night desk workers don't know anything. Overall, not a bad stay for the money.

The mattress was uncomfortable but the sheets and towels were clean. The rooms and bathrooms could be a bit cleaner. Not bad for the money but for a tiny bit more you get much better.

The location was nice, just a 5 minute walk from the plaza mayor. The staff was relatively friendly, except when I got there, it had a sign saying they accepted credit cards, but low and behold, they did not. So do not forget to bring cash! The top "blanket" of my bed was mysteriously stained, but the sheets were clean (I guess that's all that matters). There WAS mold on the wall, so if you are allergy prone, this is NOT the hostel for you. You get what you pay for.

Thank you Hostal Misol! The people at this hostel allowed me to check in after 3am in the morning (when my bus arrived in the depot). I felt very safe walking the 15 min to the hostel at this hour. The hostel was clean and I had my own room and bathroom. I would stay here again. :)
