This Hostel made my visit to Salamanca a nightmare. It was dirty, cold and had damp which made the room smell. Still trying to get my head round the wallpaper over the tiles which was starting to peel off the walls and the strange guys that tried their key in my door at 3 in the morning!!!! Also could not sleep as the bed was uncomfortable and the bedding looked like it was 20 years old.To make matters worst the bathroom was the worst. I spent 3 nights on this hotel, and it was great. The staff is really welcoming, the cleanliness is good. Location isvery convenient, we are next the center,but without the noise (especially by night).
I recommend this hotel, it\'s not expensive, and for the prize, it\'s nice.
The only \"problem\" I had, was the bed which is a little hard...but I didn\'t care \'cause I was really exhausted!!

This place was the most disgusting hole we have been to in our 4 months of traveliing!!!
DO NOT go here. We are not picky people. Trust us.

It was a cheap place to stay in Salamanca and we booked it because it was the only room left in the entire city. We were surprised that we didn't have to share the bathroom - this was nice! (We booked a 4 bed private room) There was also a TV. There was a balcony but the windows couldn't open :(
The bathroom could definitely have used some work; pretty nasty. Also, no real lounge space to meet people, just chairs in the hallway. I\'m not really sure why this hostel has such bad reviews. My best guess is because it is definitely not a party hostel. It is run by a family and is fairly old. Either way, the bad reviews shouldn\'t just come from that. This hostel is in a great location and is absolutely worth the stay considering how cheap it is, and the fact that you can find people to party with all over the center of town.I\'m not really sure why this hostel has such bad reviews.
