Dorm room too hot. Had to leave door open for fresh air. Average hostal. Could use a touch of tender loving care.
Unfortunately, I went from a super clean guest house where everyone spoke English to this hostel where English speaking staff was in short supply and things were looking worn and frayed. Although it did look like some new sheets had been purchased recently -they just did not quite fit the beds. If you are a German or Spanish speaker you will probably be quite happy here. Also, it looked like there was some "pretend cleaning going on here." The owner needs to look at her staff and watch them.
The owner Dana is very knowledgeable and helps out within the local community running numerous schemes to help the children. Heart of gold and she is more than willing to assist you in all your needs. The other staff were really friendly and helpful especially Louis - a remarkable guy who we really took to. A lot of other travellers didn't seem to make any attempt to talk to the staff and when we did the appreciation showed and they bend over backwards to help.
The dorm rooms get VERY hot. Your bunk becomes a sweaty slip-n-slide. Bathroom floor is slimy which is a bit unappealing. Staff were lovely. Good location, close to everything.
The tv didn't work, the bathroom door didn't close properly and the shower was just a dribble.
The lujo option means nothing but an useless 14" TV and an extra single bed. The description doesn't mention it. The room has an A/C but it costs extra $5 to be powered on. All the rest is OK.
Super welcoming staff. Beautiful clean room with all necessities provided. Worth much more compared to many hostel services. I had such a wonderful stay!

+ best price ever - only one bathroom in the entire hostel
fairly basic hostel but has a well-stocked kitchen. location is good - close to main square. they sell ice-cold beer and drinks here. wifi works well. unfortunately for us we were in the front room and we had people knocking on our window in the middle of the night - obviously they didn't think to ring the bell... oh well. friendly enough staff although they speak minimal english so it was a chance to practice our spanish a little. would recommend for budget travellers.
Very nice hostel! quiet and perfect to meet people
Great location. But the sleep was extremely hot, thanks to a broken fan.
The Hostel was ok. We had a few problems during our stay such as getting there and not having the room we had booked and waking up at 5am because the staff was chilling by the jacuzzi with locals. Though the staff was still very nice and helpful. Other than that, we enjoyed the jacuzzi, the shared kitchen and the other travelers we met there. It is very close to te main square!
Great jacuzzi. It was quiet and easy going. Good kitchen.
