Extremely hot rooms, no AC and barely working fans. It's ok if you're only looking for a cheap place to stay for one night and don't mind not being able to sleep because of the humidity and heat. Located near the bus terminal and main street with a lot of good restaurants.

The hostel was very close to the square and bar street and market. Has a really nice little pool out the back to cool off in. We tried to ask about a walking tour that was listed on the wall - the staff had no idea about it. Also, there was a baseball game on one of the nights we were there - we would have gone had we known. If they had a blackboard listing what was around/on it would have been really useful. The internet was really fast though.

I found the ladies of Hostel Mochilas to be very helpful and friendly. The key seems to be speaking or at least trying to speak Spanish. The kitchen is pleasent, and jacuzzi is great to relax by. It's a very low key place that's right next to the main square.

pretty good, and yet pretty average. my room was right on the street, and yet not too loud. felt pretty secure. everyone nice enough, but no fun hostel vibe the day that i was there. plenty of variables in that respect, though. location is good. price is right. i'd recommend it, i guess.

This hostel is in an excellent location but that is the only thing it has going for it. The dorms are super cramped, boiling hot with useless fans, and the most uncomfortable bed i have ever slept in which gave me terrible back pain - the thinnest piece of foam on wood. The bathroom was tiny and dirty with only a trickle of water in the shower. We left after one night and the manager refused to give us a refund for the second night, despite the pain my back was in. AVOID.

Clean, friendly, and very good location. Close to a bunch of restaurants and the city park. Would definitely stay again.

Free water refill would be a nice addition. Mattresses could be a bit more comfortable. But otherwise, a very nice hostel - useful tips in the binder. Thanks!

The female staff was terrible.

A basic double bed room with private bathroom is $20 a night, which is pretty nice. The bed is comfortable, as well. The common area is very green with lots of plants and is separate from the private we had towards the back, while the dorms are right next to it, though the hostel doesn't ever seem to get very loud anyway. None of the staff members speak English, which isn't actually expected in Central America. The night guard can be weird sometimes. Nice bar and open kitchen.

you should not state its family friendly when it isn't. And maybe consider being more helpful and kind especially when a sick child is involved. It's a lovely space, being more friendly and honest on website would be a good idea.

Actually the hostel is pretty nice and the location in the center is really good, but the staff members are really unfriendly! When you say hello (of cause in Spanish) they often do not even reply and so on...

The hostel is ideally located in the center of town. We liked the pool a lot! What we didn't like: one member of the staff just didn't say anything at all. Many mosquito's, during the day we didn't have electricity. Pricewise it's a good option to stay when you are in Grenada.

Dirty, very bad atmosphere and staff unhelpful

Is very very hot the rooms for share and the bathrooms is not too clean, at least the bathroom of the domrs

First hostel I ever stayed at, and I had such a great experience! Best deal I could find in Granada.

Room number 9 was terrible, bad matresses and horrible pillows. Yes its cheap but not worth it, spend the extra on a nicer hostal. Right next to jacuzzi, people in there until 4.30 am.
