Great location. Metres away from the train station and right in the centre of Madrid. Staff are very friendly and even though there is a small language barrier they did everything they could to help us get settled and oriented. Rooms are nice, with air conditioning and a fan, small TV, and clean. Bathrooms are also great. Slight smell of smoke in the room which we didn't like, but the staff clearly try to alleviate that by cleaning a couple of times a day. Recommended for basic accommodation

This is a sub-standard hostel. Our room smelt of smoke and the sheets of one of the beds was dirty. The whole hotel looks like it was decorated about 20 years ago. The worst thing is the bathrooms, which don''t have towels, bath mats to or soap. The walls are very thin so you can often hear other people in the corridors or the adjacent rooms. The staff looked like they wished they didn't work there, and I don't blame them! All-in-all a gross hostel.

clean but whenver i come back to my home. i smelled cigarette. and i heard the weird sound... who made a couple. it is very easy to find.

Excellent! Very nice staff (the guy at reception checked me in late at night with a smile, and he kept my luggage on departure day until the evening). My room was not very big, but the bed was comfortable, and everything was very clean. Good value for money.
