Sheets very thin and with cigarette burns. Also blanket had a hole in it from a cigarette. I recommend you get rid of it as it creates a shabby impression!

Best thing about the hostel is the location. The room was as big as two beds and a cupboard. The sheets were washed but with burn holes. There was an overwhelming stale cigarette smoke smell in the room. The room itself was cleanish. The bathroom in the hallway was not really dirty but very run down not really clean either. The locks are basic. Admittedly the room is cheap. So if you need a place just to crash and don't care about comfort or cleanliness or fresh air, this is your place.

Great location. Metres away from the train station and right in the centre of Madrid. Staff are very friendly and even though there is a small language barrier they did everything they could to help us get settled and oriented. Rooms are nice, with air conditioning and a fan, small TV, and clean. Bathrooms are also great. Slight smell of smoke in the room which we didn't like, but the staff clearly try to alleviate that by cleaning a couple of times a day. Recommended for basic accommodation

This is a sub-standard hostel. Our room smelt of smoke and the sheets of one of the beds was dirty. The whole hotel looks like it was decorated about 20 years ago. The worst thing is the bathrooms, which don''t have towels, bath mats to or soap. The walls are very thin so you can often hear other people in the corridors or the adjacent rooms. The staff looked like they wished they didn't work there, and I don't blame them! All-in-all a gross hostel.
