Great stay at Hostal Nairas, which definitely should be called Hotel rather than Hostal. Great food, very friendly staff and the cleanest rooms I have seen in entire South America. Excellent place to stay!
Really disappointing, we booked a double bed and we got a Twin, they said it was a translation problem and did nothing to solve it. Also, the public café has tables and the kitchen is on the rooms hall, so you can hear dish washing till 1am. And there is a Bar on the first floor were it´s allowed to smoke, the ventilation is through the hall too. To finish, they tried to charge us the entire cost, without discounting what we have already paid for the reservation. It´s beautiful, but nothing else

Very nice hostal (actually a hotel) in a good location. It is a little upscale for a hostal for sure and the price is a bit upscale as well but worth it. For me, it provided a brief and greatly appreciated break from the normally rather grubby hostal/hotel accommodations available at this price point in this part of the world.
It's a hotel, not a hostel. Excellent facilities, clean, big rooms, great breakfast, good location. It's actually opposite St Fransisco Cathedral (not where Google maps says). The only down side were the staff. Rude, unhelpful, poor English. I gave up trying to communicate with them.
Lovely hostal, located right next to Plaza San Francisco. I couldn't taste the breakfast though, because I only stayed for 1 night and had to check out very early in order to be on time for my flight.
