The women who run this hostel are truly wonderful, I lost my credit cards and Cristina was so kind and lent me money. They are so helpful in booking tours and giving directions. The hostel is really cool

I arrived very early in the morning with no prior notice and despite this i received a very warm welcome from the staff even though i had clearly dragged them out of their beds. Despite the fact i spoke very little spanish they were very helpful and very friendly. They go the extra mile with the breakfast where most places only do toast, they give you a little tray with bread/rolls and jam, butter, cheese sometimes ham instead, dolche lete etc. The hostel is a little bit out but worth it!

The highlight of this hostel is the staff, their great breakfast and the view of the city! The rooms are simple and comfortable. Bathrooms are basic and clean.

After booking a room for 3 nights we arrived to discover that they had been advertised at the wrong price and even though we had paid a deposit unless we were prepared to pay $30 each per night we couldn't stay! The lady was however helpful in finding us space at a campsite in Pisco Elqui 2 1/2 hours bus ride away.
