Amazing service! The person that cleaned our room even folded our clothes and hung our jackets. Aside from the super small shower which wasn't too big a deal, we had an amazing time there. The location is excellent. I would definitely stay there again.

Very nice hostel. Especially, my room was very quiet. And the staff was also very nice. But the reception worked only 08:30 - 24:00.

I had a great stay at Hostal Oporto. The location was really central to Madrid's attractions. The room was cleaned everyday which was wonderful. I did like that there were three sets of keys to access the room so I felt safe. The staff was very helpful when I asked for certain information like best way to get to the airport etc.

A quiet, clean hostel with larger-than-average rooms and private bathrooms. Very helpful staff. We had excellent sleeps, and found it convenient to many interesting sights, including the Museo del Prado and the Parque del Retiro, as well as more lively shopping areas like the Puerto del Sol. A short walk from the metro helped save on some of the footwork for those sights which were slightly further out. I didn't rate this place high for 'fun', but that's not what we look for anyway!

This hotel was in a great location. It is close to many areas of interest, and yet, is very quiet. The staff was very helpful, and spoke English well. The room was decent sized for European standards, and includes air conditioning. The building is secure. Would recommend.
