Couldn´t even stay here becuase I was afraid of getting bed bugs... the sheets on the bed were either not very clean or 50 years old with little things all over them. Stains on the towels. Only good thing about this place is the location, and the older man working there seemed pretty nice, although we couldn´t get our money back for the two nights we had reserved. ended up staying in a hotel instead.

Very modern, tidy and clean. Have lockers in the room. Very new. Kitchen is big but if you have to cook you have to buy yourself the cooking oil. The only drawback is about the water in the bathroom -- the hot water is not consistent and you have to wait for 20 minutes after one person has showered.

This hostel was in a great location, right in the center of the city, just minutes away from the best restaurants and bars. It is definitely worth what you pay for the room.

For the center of Madrid, this is probably a bargain, but it certainly feels like one--tiny room, no staff presence, no hot water.
