This is no longer really a hostel. The duplex is being rented long-term by local Panamanians. They are all nice people, but it should not be advertised as a hostel. The value is very low. While the owner tried to make it seem like a real hostel, it was very clear after one day that this wasn't the case. My room was moderately clean, and I did use the kitchen. However, the normal befits of staying in a hostel did not exist here.

The ac leaked on the bed and the linens did not appear to be clean. We moved after 1 night.

The location was a little out from the center of town, and some taxis had trouble with finding it, so it was easier to tell them to go to the large Super99 supermarket on Via Porras. Daina was an awesome host, helping us with information regarding buses, taxis, local attractions. She even let us use her bus card (you need a card for the metro buses). The buses were handy on Via Espana and worth using. Daina served a lovely breakfast every morning.
