really small and noisy rooms, there was no hot water the night i arrived, so i decided to chance the hostel the next day

Not just an hostel, almost an hotel! I've been there with my girlfriend in a double room ensuite which was little but very nice and functional and they have done full cleanings every day! they only made a little bit of confusion with the payment but finally they are honest and we solve the little matter, so I suggest you to ask them their payment policy after your reservation.
