Hostal Plaza San Pedro is a family run business owned and run by Gary, Karen, Richard and Michael Wynn. We offer a home from home for backpackers and holiday makers alike in a beautiful typical Spanish town on the Costa Del Sol.
There is Wifi in the lobby and roof terrace. The roof terraces is a great chill out area giving the opportunity to socialise with guests and staff whilst taking in the mountain/sea views and enjoying a cold drink. There is a book exchange and board games are available for a returnable deposit.
Accommodation Information
Hostal Plaza has 21 rooms available. The type of rooms on offer are double, twin, triples and 4 bed dorms. Every room has an en suite bathroom, television and air conditioning. Bed sheets, linen and towels are available in every room except the dorm room where towels are not supplied although they are available for rental at 2 euro's
San Pedro de Alcantara is situated in the valley Vega de San Pedro de Alcantara, in the muncipality of Marbella on the sunshine coast of the Costa del Sol. San Pedro retains a typical Spanish feel with it's Central Plaza and gracious church, which was built by the Marques de Duero in 1866. The Plaza is surrounded by narrow streets which are packed with intriguing small shops, sidewalk café's and bars. The property is located within 2 minutes walk from the central Plaza and 15 minutes walk from the beach and the beautiful Palm tree flanked promenade.
Adjoining beaches to San Pedro are the Playa of Puerto Banús, Nueva Andalucía, Cortijo Blanco and Guadalmina. All these beaches are well maintained with San Pedro having a beautiful newly landscaped promenade and has been awarded with the 'Blue Flag' since 1993. The beach also has a children's play area and sun beds with parasols
The Hostal is located only 3 km from the glitz and glamour of Puerto Banús, 13 km from Marbella and 70 km from Málaga and Gibraltar airport.

Considering there really aren´t hostels in actual Marbella city, San Pedro was a good alternative place to stay. It´s actually a cute little town next door. I really liked the staff, very nice and sociable people. I came when the owner´s son had his birthday, so there was a neat lil party on the roof (which is where everyone eats/drinks).
