The staff was really friendly and helpful all the time and we could leave our stuff for only 25 pesos for three days. The kitchen was badly equipped with no real knives and it just wasn't very 'inviting'. Only one toilet for women and one for men was on the low side and there were no snacks as promised.
The breakfast is amazing, the location is alright, it's about a 15 minute walk from the centre. The majority of the power outlets don't work, and the rooms downstairs can be pretty bright, even at night time when the lights are on in the common area.
I stayed for three nights. First, the location is good. Market is right next to the hostel and there is a mart near the hostel. It's close from downtown and is quiet at night. Second, room and bathroom are okay. Bed and sheets are clean and comfortable. Bathroom facility is old but hot shower works well. Third, common kitchen is clean and is convenient to use. Living room has wide screen TV and comfortable sofa. Last, staff are kind and friendly. They handled my check in quickly.
OK, but slightly overrated. Staff is friendly, but showers are ugly, wifi unstable and the (free) breakfast bad. Locationwise a little bit far away from the centre, on the other hand not too far away from the main bus terminal.
Great location, good breakfast and helpful staff. Environment fostered meeting other people and other than having to worry about neighbors complaining about noise, a good space to socialize. Bathrooms always clean, and with hot water.

We stayed in the private room (peque~na). Towels are provided. There were a good amount of people there. Great breakfast. Washroom had many showers. Location was close to zocalo... 10min. We took a taxi from the bus station.
Really great hostel, nice people and good location. Hot water in the shower! Quite small, so sometimes it was a bit noisy at night, but not too bad. The breakfast was nice and we could leave our cases there no problem after check out,
Fantastic friendly staff who went out of their way to make our experience of Dia de los Muertos memorable. Great access to tours etc. Great location - easy walk to downtown but enough away to be quiet if needed. Definitely recommend!
We stayed in the 'basic double room' and it really was extremely basic. Just a room a little bit bigger than the double bed and a small set of shelves. Not much room. Ok if you don't plan on spending much time there. Breakfast was variable - omlette and quesadillas good, potato stew bad!
The staff was very helpful and available. The hostel itself is convenient, well located and quaint. The clientele is not one that socializes with other guests, so if you are looking for a party hotel, this is not that place. The breakfast varies, one morning we had eggs and bread and the next we had stewed potatoes and carrots with bread? The master suite is exceptional with ensuite bath, TV and sitting area with a private terrace. Furniture in the lobby smells, needs cleaning
The staff were incredibly nice and helpfull! A great atmosphier!
