This hostel has potential and the staff were reasonably helpful. But the room was very unloved; it didn't look as though it had been properly cleaned in a long time. The bed and the bed linen were of dubious hygiene levels such that my wife and I preferred not to look too closely. Pity, because the building and its location mean this hostel has location.

Clean room daily. Breakfast of bananas, apples and buns. Armondo works at night and is very friendly. He is the only English speaking person at the hostel. Great location, a couple K's to Parque Central. Only complaint is that the walls are paper thin so wasn't able to sleep thru an entire night.
