I feel bad giving a negative review, the guy that runs this is really nice, but he is not a responsible owner. We arrived around six (as we had noted in our reservation,) and there was no one in the hostel. We had to sit on the street for an hour while other guests arrived until he showed up by chance. He leaves his number on the door, but if you don't have a Spanish mobile phone you can't reach him (no pay phones in Madrid.) He gave us 2 keys, neither worked. Nice guy, awful business owner.

A perfect location if you want party your night away in the nearby Chueca.Otherwise, hard to get a wink of sleep before 5 am! Also, there\'s no lift so considering the hostel is on 4th floor you must be pretty fit/travel light. Biggest disappointment was a lack of hot water after 10 pm. Prices charged, however, are very competitive for Madrid, thus it\'s ok for 1-2 nights (wouldn\'t recommend for a longer stay.) On a positive note, the owner is a decent man, flexible and very helpful!

This hostel is the best you can get for the price. It was on a perfect location (three metro stops were really close), very clean and secure. The staff was very nice although the lady did not speak english. I would definately recommend this hostel if you are looking to something cheap and with a perfect location.

Good location, nice staff..FREE WiFi. We had a room with ensuite bathroom and there was some mould in it. However it was a good value and quite satisfactory if you've come to see the city and only need a place to rest for the night.

Miguel at the front desk is a very nice guy who even had my room made up early to accommodate my arrival. The location is perfect if you want to see the major spots around Madrid. I would stay here again in a heartbeat and this is a great place to stay if you want a low-priced accommodation without screaming teenagers and a lot of the nonsense related to the backpacker scene. You will enjoy a quiet night's sleep and be close to the action for a fraction of what you'd normally pay.

This is a great little hostel, they don't provide breakfast but the rooms and bathrooms are very clean! Only inconvenience is that the staff didn't speak English, other than that all was good!
