Property Information:
Highly recommended by Lonely planet and other travel guides. Right downtown, it was formerly the home of ex Bolivian President Pando and has been lovingly converted into a beautiful spacious Hostal with a relaxed atmosphere. Friendly staff, english spoken.

Hostal Republica is great value for money. This residence of a former President had the charm of a small/mid-sized hostel. I stayed in a private room and the bed was so comfy, with full wifi access. It has good security (main gate is locked and you have to buzz in to be let in by the reception).
