We enjoyed the stay very much. Thank you for the excellent breakfast - we had no better in Chile! The bed was a bit soft and noisy - all the rest was perfect.

The rooms and the common area are very nice, clean, unique and homy. Just to stay there made us feel good. The hosts are very frindly and helpful and made a wonderful breakfast. I would love to stay there again for a longer time. Everything is within walking distance. The town and area is very nice.

Being a guest at the Hostal Rio Puntra is more like becoming a member of the family, like a homestay, on the beautiful island of Chiloe. I happened to arrive the day before several festivals in different towns and was immediately included in the owner`s family group, spending all day traveling th island and attending the festivals. They also put themselves out to assure my visit to the penguin colony, translate for me, and get me to the bus on time. Everything is clean and comfortable.

It's a very nice hostel, Gigi and Andres will do everything to make you feel welcome and will help you with any kind of problems, queries you have. The breakfast is one of the best we have had during our month long stay in Chile. The rooms and bathrooms are nice and spacious and very clean! I would definitely recommend it!

The best hostal in Chile we were staying. Every day another typ of breakfast, but always home made and very, very delicious. The Owners are very friendly and helpful and so the whole time we felt like home.

My husband & I had a wonderful stay here. The location is very handy between bus terminal & the town centre. The beds are ULTRA comfy & warm. Breakfast is yummy esp. Valentina's amazing homemade cakes. All of these things are important but it is the overall atmosphere that the girls provide that make this a wonderful place to stay. Gisela was amazingly helpful by providing us with plenty of information regarding sights to see and places to eat for all of Chiloe. Thanks again girls, all the best!

I found the staff at Hostel Rio Punta to be exceedingly nice. They made every attempt to make me feel at home at the hostel and also sit down and share a bottle of wine. Additionally, they had information regarding Chiloe and Ancud that was very useful in organizing my time their. The facilities were very clean and comfortable and the breakfast was included and was excellent. I would recommend to anyone who is looking for comforting and welcoming hostel experience.
