We only got to spend one night here but it was amazing! The staff were super helpful and worked to make our time there amazing! So inclusive and he fire every night is awesome! Showers are hot and beat wifi I have had in South America! Close to everything and staff knowledgable with suggestions of where to eat and what to do. Especially Nathaniel was amazing during our stay! Thanks for the hospitality!

Helpful reception staff. Easy to organise tours through hostel! Kitchen is clean and well equipped. Poor showers, beds springy and loud construction work all day.

Friendly but flakey... the staff were very warm and outgoing, (even gave us free drinks!) but we had issues when it came to getting timely answers to questions or someone being awake to help us figure out what was going on when the tour we booked through the hostel didn't arrive for over an hour after they should have arrived to pick us up. Very chill and friendly vibe, very clean and comfortable for the price.

Staff are great, super friendly and provide lots of information, especially Natan. Really enjoyed staying here, great social atmosphere and a good place to make friends to do the 3 day salt flat tour with.

Excellent staff very welcoming and friendly. The environment of the hostel was very relaxed and comfortable. The rooms are small and can feel a little cramped with six people. Overall great experience and great people.

Great hostel. Fire every night makes it easy to socialise. Staff were very good at organising tours, organised my next days tours at 10 and 11pm the night before! Natanael and the rest of the staff were great and always willing to help. Great location, just off the main street, definitely recommend.

Great staff and fun, lively atmosphere-- especially sitting around the fire at night or in the hammocks during the day. Be warned that the rooms are small and kinda dark. Still, a great place to spend a few days and I'd definitely stay there again if I was in the area.

Easily the most chill hostel I've stayed with in South America. Staff are friendly and very sociable, bonfires every night to beat the cold desert winter nights, located half a block from the main street. Showers go cold after a few minutes, but it is a desert, so what do you expect?

Great hostel, super friendly and helpfull staff. They can help you organize (great!!) tours. The environment of the hostel was very relaxed and super comfortable. The fire every night makes it a place where you meet new people very easily. Good kitchen, delightful decor, nice hammocks, comfy beds and always hot shower. I planned to stay just 2 nights and ended up staying 6! Also ask for the tours they organize themselves, great hiking tours!!!

Stayed there 4 nights, great staff very relaxed environment... on the downside they were doing construction right above my room which was super loud and went on until after 7. Also, the music is blasted in the courtyard until midnight which is great if you're out there hanging out but not so great when you've got a 5am bus to catch.

This hostel was amazing! The staff was really nice, their tours were awesome and the location was perfect! I really recommend to stay at this hostel and book the tours with them! It's a bit more expensive, but all hostels are more expensive around San Pedro! Showers were cold, you have to ask for hot water (I didn't know I had to ask...)

Very cool hostel, with wicked managers that can help with anything at all you need! Very easy to book tours through the hostel as well and we'll priced compared to around town.

It's a nice hostel with a good atmosphere. However, we didn't get a very good sleep. They offer tours starting at 5 in the morning but they are pretty loud until late. One night the music was very loud and we were unable to sleep. We asked the staff if they could turn it down a little bit, but when we went back to bed they turned it up. There was no toilet paper a lot of the times which was pretty annoying. We had a decent stay but we wouldn't stay again.

hands down the best hostel ive ever stayed in! as a solo traveller it was nice to feel like i was coming home at the end of everyday. Hector and Nathan are awesome, kind, funny people and i would highly reccomend this hostel to anyone. No breakfast but thats pretty standard in San Pedro. Sitting by the fire everynight is the best! Thanks hostal Rural for making good memories for me in San Pedro de Atacama :)

Really cool place with a sunken chill out area and a fire at night to chill beside giving it a great atmosphere. WiFi can be a bit temperamental and kitchen a but small but otherwise great.
