Delightful decor. Wonderful staff - they felt like friends! Hammocks in the shade for the daytime and a fire in the courtyard at night. Very pleasant atmosphere- everybody got talking - but also very respectful of others, so quiet at night and first thing in the morning. Only downside was the occasional wait for the bathrooms- but they are extending the space so this may become a thing of the past. If you want a different experience, stay at the Rural.

It's a nice hostel, with confortable beds. There's no breakfast though. Very near the main street so you can easily go out. there was some construction going on when I stayed there so it was a bit noisy. Staff was nice and helped with tours and shuttle to the airport

Had the best time at Rural. Booked for two nights and ended up staying for a week. Nathaniel and Hector are the best and extremely helpful for booking tours and making sure your time in San Pedro is amazing. Great facilities, perfect location the centre of town, comfy beds, and the common area is awesome for hanging out. Can't say enough about the staff and everyone I met at Rural. They made it one of my favourite places to stay so far in South America. Definitely stay here!

Very nice hippie-style hostel. Staff are great. Expect Bob Marley songs running at some nights.

Such a lovely hostel. The staff, Hector and Nathaniel were amazingly helpful and friendly, sorted out tours for us and had great advice on places to go. The atmosphere was fun and chilled out especially with the amazing hammocks and cute den. Was one of our favourite hostels and we'd recommend it to anyone and stay there again!

Nice, chilled out hostel. Staff are really friendly and come on trips. 4 bed dorm was nice - decent size and decent bed. No breakfast (as stated). Only thing that spoiled this was cold showers. Booked the salt flat tour to Uyuni through the hostel and was very happy with this.

Probably the best hostel i stayed in in south america! This was mainly due to the staff. Hector and Natanael are truly the best staff members you can imagine, at least the best i ever met: they're really friendly and helpfull! with booking tours or anything else you might need. Atmosphere in the hostel was really good too.

Awesome hostel to chill at. Always good music playing and hammocks to relax on. The staff Hector and Panda (Nathaniel) are legends. Always there to help with anything you need; booking tours, recommendations on places to go etc. would definitely stay here again.

Best hostel ever! Amazing hammocks to lay in and relax. Fantastic atmosphere. The staff is the BEST! Easy to walk to from the bus station and close to an ATM and grocery stores. Probably the best hostel in Chile and maybe South America. Perfection!

No hot water which can be really frustrating. No breakfast included and no kitchen to use.

Atacama was an unforgettable experience largely due to the staff from H Rural. The staff spoke fluent English. The staff really cared about the guests and felt like true good friends. very knowledgeable on best toura, best restaurants, and cheapest buys. The hostel itself was made for connection where all the guests could talk all night, make fires, and relax in hammocks. Wi-Fi is FAST.

By far the best hostel in which I've ever stayed,Hector and Clarence make you feel at home, speak perfect English, and give you really good advice on tours (you can book them through the hostel). The place has lively and energetic vibe and you'll meet a lot of new people. The guys want to get to know you and help you out in any way possible. Because of them and the overall atmosphere at the hostel,I ended up spending a lot more time in San Pedro than what I had originally planned.Don't think twice!

Located centrally in San Pedro and with cool staff, they were let down by absolutely screwing our washing (ruined hundreds of dollars of clothes) and there being ants all through our dorm. The vibe at the hostel is chill but there's also no breakfast.

Hostel all right, but expensive for what it is. For the same price, you can find better in the same area.

Great hostel, loved the hammocks! The staff was really friendly and helpfull. The hostel is perfectly situated at the main street of San Pedro. The only downside was the small kitchen.

Great hostel as central as you get it. Great common area with hammocks, bonfire, music, etc. The staff were helpful and friendly. Apart from that only one person from the staff spoke English, which made it a bit complicated as I dont speak spanish, this hostel is great and if I go back to San Pedro I will definitely stay there again.
