Hostal San Juan Reviews

This hostal is located outside of Alicante town. e had to get directions for public transport from locals who told us to catch Bus 21 which stops outside the hostal. Whilst there is not a lot to do in the area (ie clubs, bars etc) for me it made up for this by the location overlooking Playa Muchivista. Also the tram stops outside so we caught the tram to El Campello for breakfast and to Benidorm for our onward travel

Excellent location with tram,beach and swimming pool all within 10 metres walking distance cheapest one i came across and the facilities were excellent.

The only good thing about this place is the location, opposite the beach. It's not really a hostel, it's a cheap family hotel, no air-conditioning in the room, no wifi in the rooms, no kitchen or fridge so you can't buy your own food and the staff are unhelpful and rood. We got to Alicante early in the morning, we had to email the hostal for directions which were limitted at best and then we couldn't check in until 2, they didn't show us the bathrooms or give us any suggestions as to where to go
