This is not a hostel which is what we were expecting. It is a very nice mid-priced hotel but not a hostel.
For me, this hostel was really good, you can somehow understand the Spain culture when staying there. The building was interesting and beautiful. I definitely recommend you to stay there. Only 2 things were not really good. Firstly, it is a bit noisy at night, because it is located on the main street of Madrid. You should consider it if you are not a person easy getting a sleep. Secondly, the woman working there can not speak English, you have to make a good plan yourself to enjoy the city.
Nice place. Kind of expensive for a solo traveller, good deal for a couple. Awesome elevator.
Excellent central location in Madrid. Clean friendly and very convenient. Easy to get to from airport using Metro

Clean and comfortable accommodations. Staff is friendly but unavailable after regular business hours should a need arise.
This is more a hotel then a hostel and the location is just super, it is on Gran Via in the middle of everything. Beware when you go in the summer...you will be having some nasty nights. In Madrid it is 32 degrees celcius and in the rooms are no airco and not good ventilation so in your room it is 35 celcius. Way to hot and I can handle warmth very good but even I felt uncomfortable.
